Any treatment decision must be made directly between you and a qualified healthcare professional. We encourage you to discuss planned treatment abroad with your home clinician. Travelers are responsible for performing their own due diligence before selecting a provider or undergoing any treatment.
What we do
We coordinate non-medical logistics: provider introductions where appropriate, consultation scheduling, airport and appointment transportation, accommodation, interpretation, personal assistants, meals and activities for companions. Where we describe a provider as reviewed or selected, that refers to our own partnership review process (credentials, facility arrangements and coordination processes) and does not constitute clinical endorsement.
Emergencies
Our concierge channels are not an emergency service. In a medical emergency in the Dominican Republic call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
Recovery and activities
Tours, swimming, alcohol, sun exposure and other vacation activities may interfere with recovery. Follow your treating clinician’s instructions, including about fitness to fly, before booking activities or return travel.
