We encourage you to discuss planned treatment abroad with your home clinician. Travelers are responsible for performing their own due diligence before selecting a provider or undergoing any treatment.<\/p>\n<h2>What we do<\/h2>\n<p>We coordinate non-medical logistics: provider introductions where appropriate, consultation scheduling, airport and appointment transportation, accommodation, interpretation, personal assistants, meals and activities for companions. Where we describe a provider as reviewed or selected, that refers to our own partnership review process (credentials, facility arrangements and coordination processes) and does not constitute clinical endorsement.<\/p>\n<h2>Emergencies<\/h2>\n<p>Our concierge channels are not an emergency service. In a medical emergency in the Dominican Republic call <strong>911<\/strong> or go to the nearest hospital.<\/p>\n<h2>Recovery and activities<\/h2>\n<p>Tours, swimming, alcohol, sun exposure and other vacation activities may interfere with recovery.
